The technician John Walters came out on December 23rd and took time to troubleshoot the issue with my heat pump. On the first visit he diagnosed the outdoor unit needed a new fan motor and it was low on Freon. Several hours went by and the unit was still not cooling. John came back out on Christmas Eve. I purchased a new thermostat the day before and it ended up also being the thermostat. The old thermostat was keeping the heat pump from turning off the heat strips. John replaced the thermostat and set it up for a heat pump and it immediately started to produce cold air. Overall it was a process of elimination and I am satisfied with the service and grateful that Chad’s was able to provide service on such short notice. I would recommend Chad’s to others and I would call them again for future services.
